I know BF isn't for everyone but I loved it. I thought it was a great way to bond and it was so easy just to whip my boob out

I breastfed both my kiddos and it was awesome! So cheap and easy and the bond is unreal. Good luck!

I was one of those people who thought BF was NOT for me and that if I did do it, i'd only do it for a couple of months. After tons and tons of struggles (pain, thrush, low milk production) DD and I got into our groove....and here I am almost 4 years later and still doing it occasionally. Something i'm really proud of! Having said that I don't get involved in the BF vs FF argument. I think in the end if your feeding your baby thats all that matters, regardless how the baby gets it

I loved it too! I really missed it after I stopped. We made it for 18mos, My original goal was only 6mos. I'm proud of my self that I kept going. There were certainly days that were very challenging. But worth every minute of it. Can't wait to experience that again.

I did not breast feed with my first. My milk never "came in". However, my boobies are so sore this pregnancy (they never once were sore with my first). So, I am hoping I can BF. My only concern is that I have had an augmentation and hoping that wont interfere.

I will breastfeed again. I made it just under 15 months, and stopped the day I found out I was pregnant. I was ready to be done at that point. And I must say that I am pretty proud of my tiny ta-tas. I know size doesn't matter if you can or can't BF, but I was still nervous. I'm like a negative A, and had no changes whatsoever in my boobs until after I delivered. I'm guessing the same will happen this time too.

I'd like to apply for the position of VP of the IBTC, lol. My pre-teen-sized girls did just fine with BF, we never had any issues except for a milk blister which led to a mildly clogged duct around 1 year. I took care of it myself and while it totally sucked, it didn't hinder nursing. I stopped just a few days after her 2nd birthday because I wanted to have my body back for a little while before getting pregnant again and I felt like 2 years was enough. I cried a lot the night I nursed her for the last time, and I thought it'd be a lot tougher, but she was totally ready to wean and never even asked to nurse again. I hope the next baby nurses as well and things go just as smoothly.

I had a hard time with Lily and made it to 5 months. With Abri I was determined to make it to a year. I actually nursed for 23.5 months. I had a couple clogged ducts and got mastitis once but other than that it was nice. We'll see this time around. I was a SAHM with Abri, but I work part time now and pumping sucks. I still have a goal of one year though.

Super jealous! I have tata's that were MADE for breastfeeding. I was pumping for my twins in 2008 while they were in the NICU and I had absolutely no troubles.

But since then I have been dx with some medical issues and have to take meds that pass through breast milk. I would consider just not taking them but 2 weeks into this pregnancy without them and I am already feeling the horrible effects

I am so pro breastfeeding even though I personally can't...

I've tried everything my doctors told me & I have always had low production & big babies with healthy appetites! But I plan to give it my best effort again. All my boys have been bf & ff babies.

We had a rocky start but ended up breastfeeding for 28 months. It was wonderful, can't wait to do it again.

For as horrible as my L&D experience was, BF'ing was the one and only thing that went perfectly right for us. And I'm so grateful and thankful for it! I never had a set goal in mind, I just knew that I was going to BF Connor as long as he wanted to...and we're still going strong at 2.5 years. There are some days where I wish he would wean, and I do secretly hope that my milk will change enough that he decides he doesn't want it, but I wouldn't change anything for the world! He only nurses about 2 times a day on average, sometimes only once, other times 3-5, so we'll see what happens I guess! I'm not sure if I will be sad, since it's been all that I could have hoped for, I might be a little happy to have my boobs to myself for a few months at least! lol

I plan on doing the same for this baby and I hope we have just as long and happy of a BF'ing relationship as Connor and I have had.
