Omg right b4 I found out I was pregnant the back pain was so horrible I couldn't do anything. It hurt so bad I had to lay down for most of the day. I have a 7y.o n 2y.o n a husband that can't do the things I usually do right. It was very hard but its gone now thank God n I hope it stays gone

Yup I have it too! I talked to my Dr. yesterday and he said that back pain starts earlier and is usually a little worse with every pregnancy The uterus and pelvis are more used to relaxing so they do it earlier and more readily. Boo..

It can be several things... gas could cause it.

Plus, the hormones are causing your uterus to enlarge and your pelvis to relax to accomodate the growing baby. That can cause twinges of pain and sometimes you can get pinched nerves and things in the process.

My backs been bothering me already too. I've always had back problems later in pregnancy, but I thought this was due to lifting a nine month old all the time.

During the day it seems to be fine but as i'm making dinner and slowing down the ache is almost unbearable in my lower back. Its so annoying, especially to sleep at night
