What are your kids dressing up as for Halloween? Are you dressing up as well? Anyone doing family themes?

Connor is going to be Thomas the train, his new obsession. We bought DH a top hat, but never found a yellow vest, so he'll sort of be Sir Topham Hatt lol. I got a witch hat, but that's it so far!

My oldest, Luke, is going to be Harry Potter. Nathan, my 6 year old, is going to be a vampire. My oldest girl, Danielle, is going to be eeyore and my youngest is going to be a spider! I have had the spider costume since my oldest wore it for his 2nd Halloween and it has become a tradition for my kids to be the spider for their 1st or 2nd Halloween I really wanted to dress up with my husband (him as bacon, me as an egg lol) but he is not that cool haha. I don't think I could pull off the egg by myself

I really wanted to do a theme with my kids this year but they had other ideas...

We were in Once Upon a Child buying some hair bows for my daughter, standing in line waiting to pay. The Halloween costume rack was right behind us. My daughter randomly picked a beaver costume off the rack and thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen. She tried it on in the store and fell in love (so much for her previous idea of being Rapunzel). I thought surely she would change her mind again but she is still just as excited about it as the day we bought it lol. She didn't want her brother to feel left out so she picked a skeleton costume for him. Cheapest Halloween EVER!!!

As for me, I won't be dressing up on Halloween but DF and I are dressing up in 70's disco outfits on Saturday because we are going out for my birthday....it's gonna take some sneaking around my friends because I obviously won't be drinking but we aren't ready to tell everyone why yet

Joce is going to be a zebra. I haven't bought that costume yet, but she has been telling me all day, EVERYDAY since September that she is going to be a zebra.

Gabriel.. I haven't decided yet! I am still thinking.. he doesn't exactly care lol

DH loves to dress up and so do I, but I don't know if we will. We are kind of planning a family deal that night so after a little trick or treating we are going to bake cookies for the kids to decorate and watch a little kid's halloween movie.

No big adult halloween parties this year because I don't want to answer questions yet about why I am not drinking and my very strategically placed BLOAT that makes me look quite obviously pregnant. I have been a hermit and avoiding people lol.

I got DD a lion costume but she's not into it. She doesn't really get what's going on yet so I'm not gonna push it. I feel too crappy anyway. Next year will be so fun! DD will be more aware and I'll have a sweet little baby to dress up, too!

Im not sure what is going to end up happening. Original plan was for my oldest to be a doctor since we had all the stuff for it and me, DH and youngest were going to be her patients. Since then my youngest received a Cars costume for her birthday (she is obsessed with McQueen) so she might be that with some fake blood on her to still be a patient with us. My oldest also got a princess costume for completing her chart and I thought for sure she would change her mind about being a doctor but she still says doctor when people ask her. I think she loves the thought of us being her patients with fake blood on us.

We're just handing out candy at my mom's house to do something different this yr.

DD1- Wants to be an angel but we haven't found the white gown yet.
DS- Will be a pirate bc we already have that costume in his dress up stuff
DD2- Black cat

I might throw a witches hat on and wear green eyeshadow... elaborate, ay?

My little guy will be a pirate, but he wants to be Batman too. I have both costumes, although the pirate is way cuter, so I'm going to push that one.

My daughter wants to be Mary Poppins, not JUST Mary Poppins but she specified which dress, so she is being Mary Poppins in the Jolly Holiday dress. They do not sell that costume, so I have been buying pieces (a hat, a white dress, a white umbrella) and I have to add red accents and sleeves to make it look the same. It has been quite the process....

My oldest Lily asked to be Muskateer Barbie. She watches the Barbie and the Muskateers movie all the time. I'm in the process of making her dress. Essentially it's a Marie-Antoinette style dress and she'll carry a sword. She picked the pinkest sparkliest fabric she could find for her costume.

Abri doesn't really get the concept yet, so she's wearing the Renaissance princess dress I made for Lily a few years ago.

I might dress up as in either my Renaissance dress I made years ago or a makeshift pirate costume. We'll see. DH dresses up at work and I've convinced him to go as Psy (the Korean pop star who sings Gangnam Style). I just need to find him a powder blue tux jacket at a thrift shop.
