I think I have a UTI so they moved my first appointment to Thursday. I'm excited to get in early, but..... My husband and both of his parents work at the hospital I'll be going to. So, I'm not sure we'll be able to keep our secret for long. I cant decide if we should tell my in-laws before my appointment to avoid an awkward run-in with them at the hospital. My fil works in the lab, so if I have blood work, he'll probably know. I was really hoping to keep in under wraps until week 8 at least. Ahh..
Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
That's an awkward situation! Are you just wanting to wait until you're further along to tell people or is there a specific reason you don't want your inlaws to know? Personally, if they might find out through the grapevine, I would tell them first. They might get their feelings hurt if it doesn't come from you :/
Wow that is tough!! I agree you are kind of forced into telling them :/ Just stress that you do not want them to tell anyone and let them know that you have told no one else so they know if it gets back to you that someone knows it had to come from them... it will all work out
I would think you could still hide it maybe?? Whoever you see is not aloud to discuss what is going on with you. Just tell the person you see not to mention you were there or what you were there for. Even if your fil worked in the labs they would only be testing for a uti. It's tough either way but I think you could be sneaky about it. You can have a uti when you are not pregnant.
