Hello Ladies!

How many positive pregnancy tests did you take before deciding to call your doctor? I have had two positive tests this morning, not sure if I should take a few more before calling the doc or not?

Thanks for your help!

Amanda

I only took 2 before calling. I'm seeing a new OB and they only accept one new preggo patient per month and knew I needed to call right away!

Well, I've taken more than two. BUT one postive HPT is enough to warrant a call to the doctor. They're pretty accurate at reading positives!

I can't remember but I waited until I was 6 weeks until calling my doctor. I know they wouldn't see me before 7-8 weeks anyway so I was in no rush. But I agree, one positive hpt means you are pregnant.

I agree 1 positive is enough. Most offices don't see you until 8-10 weeks unless there is a problem.

I called after the first one. I absolutely love my OB, as do most of his other patients so he can be a little tough to get into for a first visit. Even calling at 4 weeks, I couldn't get an appt until I am 10 weeks.

Same here. It's hard to get a maternity appt in our city. I had to wait till 9 weeks +
