My hubs and I have not been preventing for a little while now in an attempt for #3. I m/c in June right around fathers day at 7 weeks pg. Fast forward to last week...We were in Florida and I was feeling queasy so on 10/17 I took a test. It was negative. Started spotting super light-brown and an occasional red spot--which lasted for 6 days. Then 2 days ago my breasts became tender and I was still feeling queasy and bloated. Hubs told me to take a test again. Positive. What do you all think is happening AND...based on that when would I calculate from? If I went by my last REAL AF (9.16.2012) I would be a June dd but....not sure. Also, since I m/c before I want to wait before making my midwife appointment- if all goes well I would go probably towards the end of November. Thoughts?

THANKS LADIES!!!

Sorry about your mc. Congrats on the bfp. If I were you, I would count 40 weeks from the brown spotting to get a due date, knowing it could be 2 weeks in either direction.

Could the spotting possibly be implantation bleeding? With my first pregnancy, I had spotting that I thought was the start of AF but just never got heavier and only lasted 4-5 days. Like you, my boobs were sore so I tested and sure enough I was pregnant. I would count your actual AF as day 1 and not the spotting you had. You wouldn't get a BFP at only 2 weeks.

I think it was implantation. Which in reality would be the first week of being pg. so, 40 weeks from there would be two weeks past what anyone would reasonable guess. If her lmp was sep 16, she would be 6 weeks now. But if she didn't ovulate til oct 10, she would be 4 weeks now. Still all guess work. How were your other two? Late, early, on time? I always go late, have a 40 day cycle, so I always add two weeks to my due date.

Either way, congrats! Call the midwife, make the appt for a month from now. Will she do a us for dating?
