We have joint accounts, and I'm the one in charge of paying the bills and everything, since he forgets about it, and I'm a control freak. But he obsesses over the number in the bank account so much, he should just take over everything so I don't have to constantly tell him what checks were written for what LOL
Hubby makes the money. I use it to pay the bills. We actually have kept our accounts separate. It helps me keep track of my bills and credit cards versus his. And I have a separate savings account for each of the kids that he doesn't have access to. (Not because he is going to like take it, lol, but he tends to spend money if it is there... even if he shouldn't)

He makes the money and I manage it. I'm far better with money then he is so when he gets his cheques he deposits them and I give him money for the week and the rest is used how I think it should be. He has a hard time not spending when he sees large numbers in the bank

We have joint accounts. DH pays the bills. We empty the accounts at the end of each month and put that all on a credit card. It's a good little system my DH has started, and that's why he does the finances.
