Have you thought of a nursery theme? I don't have a nursery, but I do want to make he/she's blankets and bedding have some sort of a theme... I am thinking of doing Dr. Seuss.

For my personal style im not in to themes. But i think its cute when other people do. The room is two shades of green split by a white chair rail. For both girls we added lavender accents. If it was a boy we would add navy.

I'm VERY much into themes, and we don't have a nursery right now, but we will shortly after the baby arrives when we move to a bigger place.

Right now our favorite themes are Star Wars, Winnie the Pooh, Lord of the Rings or Phineas and Ferb. They're all gender neutral and will work if we have either a boy or a girl, so we can start gathering stuff once we make a final decision.

Haha, this sounds EXACTLY like with my DH Alex would want. He is obsessed with Star Wars and LOTR stuff and he will never admit it but he watches Phineas and Ferb in the morning because HE likes it, not the kids! We did Winnie the Pooh with Gabe.

We're total nerds, so the odds that little Falcon will be a nerd as well are pretty good, so we might as well start early :-D And we LOVE Phineas and Ferb! DH has Phineas in his classroom on his white board with "I know what we're going to do today" written in Latin by him, and Perry the Platypus is on the wall in our guest bathroom So we already have wall clings to make that a theme for a nursery

I'm not a fan of themes, either. DD's room is a fresh green-yellow and the rest is just sort of a mix of vintage blankets and colorful fabrics. I have embroidery hoops with different fabrics framed in a cluster on her wall and a couple of bright animal paintings. I like white and natural wood furniture and I don't like things to be too matchy. We won't have a nursery this time because we only have two bedrooms but my dream is to do everything in sort of a Swedish style. I'd love to rip up the carpet and paint everything white, even the floors, and accessorize with bright pops of color everywhere.

We probably won't do a theme. I am thinking pink and grey for a girl but not sure for a boy.

We are doing a theme similar to this for ds's room but I LOVE this theme in general!

But since we are not finding out baby's gender, we need something gender neutral. I like these!

This one is my favorite!

And this is a close second

We did gender neutral with my son. We were Team Green with him. But I knew I didn't want to decorate the nursery twice if we had a different gender the next time. We did classic Winnie the Pooh (not Disney). I really love the old drawings, and my mom used to read it to us as kids, so it makes me think of that whenever I go in there.

With DD i did a fairy theme with sage green walls n pink accents. Top had fairies and the bottom had kitty silhouettes chasing butterflies. But i just mainly stuck to the color theme. Not sure yet for this baby

I'm doing giraffes. I'll add color to giraffe patterns when we find out. We don't have a nursery but I like to make matching blankets and toys.

I'm also into themes, we did sports theme for Connor. If we have another boy, I may do the safari/jungle animal theme. If it's a girl, probably fairies & butterflies, lots of pink! lol I really love the arctic animal theme, which could go both ways I think.

I did precious moments with my daughter but I don't think I will be doing a theme this time around. We might not have a nursery yet by the time baby is born. We prolly will start a room addition in the spring. In the meantime, baby will sleep in bassinet in our room.
