What are you passionate about in your life? Has that changed since having children or becoming pregnant?

I'm passionate about the environment. We try to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible. We spend lots of time outdoors, and it's so sad to see it reduced when people litter. My kiddos are the garbage patrol! They're always trying to pick up trash on the ground (I don't let them, for fear of whoever may have touched it before). I'm passionate about whole foods. I love shopping at the farmer's market and I try for the 80/20 rule in my household (meaning we eat 80 percent whole foods). I'm passionate about cooking, but not enough to make it my career, I just don't think it would be fun to cook for others, and chefs work too much, IMO. I'm passionate about natural childbirth, even though I've never been able to experience it before, due to pre-e. I'd love to be an advocate for other mothers one day as a doula. I'm also passionate about breastfeeding and I'd love to be a LC one day too! And last but certainly not least, I'm passionate about God. His word is so inspiring and has led me through some difficult periods in my life.

I am passionate about the environment as well. We recycle and reuse just about anything that we can and I think it's awesome that my kids are starting to come up with their own ideas for ways to reuse things around the house.

I am also very passionate about animals. Obviously, since I work at a vet clinic this comes with the job. Even outside of work, I'm a sucker for animals. My fiancé is always getting mad at me for bringing home strays...even though I never keep them, I just find homes for them. All of my animals have been rescued.

I'm passionate about creating a fun learning environment for my son. My biggest hope for him is that he shares my and hubby's love of learning new things.

we have a huge garden and grow lots of the food we eat.
We spend as much time out of doors as possible.

I also am big on hobbies. DH and I both are "project" people, and are always working on crazy stuff. I quilt, jigsaw puzzle, crochet, embroider, reupholster furniture, etc... DH is an electronics geek. he does computer stuff, but also electronics and circuits. He build DS a trick-or-treat bag with blinking LEDs that are controlled by a wireless remote.

I'm very passionate about helping kids with autism and other behavioral issues. I spent the last 4 years working one on one with two different kids, one was high functioning autistic and the other was ODD and had seizures. I stopped after last school year when DH and I decided to TTC. The job was very fulfilling and I loved the kids, but it was SOOO stressful, and VERY physical. I hope after whatever kids we have are back in school to go back and get my special education teaching certificate.

I'm also really passionate about women's and queer rights. I'm very outspoken politically, and I've gotten to the point of actually crying if a law is passed that restricts the rights to a group.

Equal Rights, Women's Rights, Politics. My kids. Disenfranchised populations. Substance Abuse Issues. Stopping HIV. The list is long

It hasn't changed with my kids. They go with me to rallies, to volunteer and to vote. They are very aware of the issues of the nation, and have developed their own passion for it as well!
