Tonight I started getting these really unpleasant, sharp sort of rippling cramps that are centered in my groin area. Not uterine/AF-type cramps, more a feeling like someone is poking me in the groin with a sharp stick . I can't really tell if it's vaginal or in the area of my urethra, as it sort of moves. It's got me really worried! Has anyone had this before with this or other pregnancies? Is it normal/ok? Google tells me it could be ligament pain but not sure. I have no UTI symptoms or anything. I have my apt in the morning so thank heavens I can ask my doc, but until then I'm freaking out!
Also just sneezed hard, and got shooting pain across my lower belly that lasted a few seconds, like a pulled muscle. Is that ligament pain, too? Help!
The sneezing thing sounds like ligament pain to me! I am having the same sharp pains... but I remember them with my DS and everything turned out okay. I had a lot of crazy pains and pulling sensations-- I am getting them again this time. I am not too worried but if you find out anything from your doctor, please share what he says!!

The sharp pains in the groin area - I have the same ones sometimes, but I also occasionally get them when I get AF so I wasn't too worried .
As the other ladies said, the pain when you got when sneezing sounds like ligament pain to me as well. I've had it a few times, and plenty of pulling and pinching sensations. I had my first appt last week and the doc said it's just ligaments stretching and whatnot. I'm no expert though, this is pregnancy is my first.
Thanks, ladies - it makes me feel better to know others have felt the same things. They stopped last night and I don't feel them this morning, so hopefully it was just some internal adjustment. I'll let you know what the doc says!
