Green Eggs and Ham! I read it to Jocelyn when she was in the NICU and everytime I did, her heartrate steadied and her oxygen requirements went down. With Gabriel, he fell asleep when I would read it to him. I think its lucky!

Where the Wild Things Are. There's also a book that I remember my nephew having and it's about the mom loving the child no matter what. Such as when he gets into the cookie jar or breaks something. I can't remember the name of it right now, though.

I love the part where the baby bunny says he will become a bird n fly away from his mom and she says...well then I will be the tree you come home to......makes me tear up every time.
