I got blood drawn again today any my hcg has risen from 47,000 to 51,000, so it is rising pretty slowly. I don't have any idea what this really means except a lot of anxiety for me and DH. We're ready to just know for sure! I'm going in next Wednesday for another u/s but I don't know how I'll survive this wait! Hopefully the slow rising numbers are just because it's already pretty high...
Sometimes, I think it's better to go back to the way we did things years ago.
We missed our period, took a pregnancy test or 2 or 3 lol We went to our first appointment established a due by the little wheel, got a prescription for some horse pill-sized prenatal pills. Then, we waited until 18-22 weeks to get our first ultrasound to find out if it was a bouncing girl or boy.
I have a son that will be 20 years old in 2 weeks and a 7 year old daughter.
I never did any of these tests with either of them and they are perfectly fine.
This time it's been an emotional roller coaster trying to figure out what these numbers mean and what the next set will be! If nothing was wrong, I certainly could have created a problem due to all the stress.
Regardless, of what these tests may possibly indicate its ultimately in God's hands and plans.
Enjoy your pregnancy, try to surround yourself with positivity and let nature take it's course!
