If you do, how have they taken the news that you're expecting?

Our littler kids have talked some about the baby and seem to be happy and excited. The older ones, not so much. I guess it's normal if they feel a little weird about the subject. It is so very, very strange for me as a mom to think that next summer I will have one kid brand new and one kid reaching legal adulthood.

My oldest is eight and he doesn't know yet, but I think that he is going to be soo excited. He has really been asking for a baby sister, and even if he gets a third brother, I bet that he will be thrilled.

aww that's sweet.. Well for the older ones, they will learn to accept it eventually I'm sure of it. They have no choice

My oldest will be 13 when this one arrives. We haven't told them yet, but I'm sure we'll get a mixed bunch of reactions from the kids. In our case, with 6 girls and only 1 boy, it will be more interesting to see their reactions when they find out what we're having.

Mine are 9 and 11, and I have not told them yet. My boyfriend's son is 5.

I am curious to see how they will react. They have little brother's with their dad, but it's been just the three of us for so long. Knowing them, they will be open and accepting, but I expect moments of uncertainty or jealousy.

My twins are recently 10 and it's mixed right now, it's been all about them for so long that it's kinda wierd..lol. But they seem to be asking more and more questions and helping mama out more since I've been sick. One doesn't care about the sex of the baby, they just don't want to change stinky diapers, lol, the other one is "girl power" all the way so she can dress her up in cute clothes like her, lol. We'll see how it goes.

My DD is 3 and is so excited about "our baby" She keeps telling people that she's having a baby and it's in mama's belly lol. She has a little brother from her dad so she knows the drill but I think she's starting to act out a little more because of the baby.

I have two wonderful daughters ages 8 1/2 and 6, they both know and are very excited and want to try to take care of me as much as possible since I have been pretty yucky feeeling since I found out. I am doing my best to let them know that they are included and loved just the same. I know they will be wonderful helpers, I cant wait till they get to meet the new baby!
