I woke up around 1am to go to the bathroom. I was feeling really hungry so I went to the kitchen to get a snack, but I started feeling really sick. I thought, "great, here's the ms I've been wanting." But, the nausea turned into extreme dizziness, and I felt a rush of tingly hotness rush throughout my body. I knew this wasn't good. My vision was blurred and I was hearing static sounds. I went the bedroom and woke my husband up. I went to the bathroom and sat in the floor, it was all getting worse. I told him to call his mom, she's an RN, but he didn't think it I was really going to pass out. I did pass out and when I came to, he was saying, "Amy, what are you doing?" I was feeling really good at that point and had no clue that I passed out, so I was like "what are you talking about?" I passed out again, that time he said I was grunting. Weird. After that, I felt some better. So I drank a bottle of water and ate a poptart. I figured it probably had something to do with food or water.
Anyway, we went to the ER and it turned out that I was dehydrated. Surprise. I spent 4 hours there so he could finally tell me that after criticizing me about not having a clue how many calories I ate a day. They did blood work and an EKG.
Shew, I never want to feel like that again. It was the worst feeling ever.

The same thing has happened to me a few times. Only twice when I passed out I hit my head on a hard surface & woke up thinking I was dying because of the intense pain. They told me it was a result of dehydration too. I have to be very careful when I'm preg because I get dehydrated easier. I try to drink lots of water and I hardly ever drink soda or coffee. It completely freaks out dh, but now I've figured when I get that feeling I need to immediately sit down. Unfortunately the last time I did sit down, but my head still hit the door near me!
Super scary! Glad your okay. I had the same thing happen this past week, a couple of times. I had had the stomach flu and was barely keeping liquids down and got so dizzy and sick making DD breakfast that I passed out. Now it's starting to happen in the mornings (not passing out, but close) so I keep juice beside my bed and as soon as I wake up I go to the fridge and eat a quick snack before I start getting too dizzy

That is so scary! And worrisome since you passed out twice in a row! I imagine that is probably why they checked to make sure your heart is okay. I have been pretty close to fainting since I got pregnant too! Take it easy hun and feel better Glad you are okay!
