You arent terrible...**** happens. But from someone that knows a few nurses....always always ask questions and research things medically....whether your child gets it or you do. MRSA can be very dangerous and even fatal....get your DD antibiotics...and dont guilt yourself hun....we are human we make mistakes....we dont get a manual when we become parents...but yes DRs will often make things not sound so bad as not to panic ya...your ok and shes ok. Your a good mom! We all have made mistakes!
Ahh and likely she hasnt had the infection for years....you totally would have known!
Also praying its not MRSA and just a harmless rash!
Don't feel horrible. You are doing the right thing now you can't go back in the past. So just get it taken care of hopefully just a rash... oh and try to make friends with a nurse in your new town My bestie is a nurse and boy has she saved my *** a time or 2!
