Before I got pregnant, I never ate breakfast. Now that I'm pregnant nothing ever sounds good for breakfast. Baby isn't into too many sweets so when I try eating cereal, I end up wasting food and throwing it away as it makes me sick. Pop tarts are very dry and I can't seem to swallow them....same with toast. I've been eating a banana lately but that gets old.

Any ideas?

i had beef tacos for breakfast this morning. I normal love breakfast food but lately traditional breakfast food has been sounding pretty gross. So I just eat leftovers or sandwich's. Sorry no real advice.

I try to eat oatmeal several mornings a week, but I put different things in it depending on the day to help switch it up some. Sometimes I'll do brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice, another day I'll do diced apples and cinnamon and sugar. I added dried mixed berries in the other (cranberries, blueberries, cherries). Some days I can deal with sweet, and other days having the tart berries helps my stomach. I've also eaten some breakfast burritos with eggs and sausage.

Eggs won't settle with me. When I was pregnant with Aidan, I got sick any burgers (or ground beef) and any kind of eggs.

I'm about to go out to eat to devour some cheese fries covered in bacon and chives with ranch. I know not healthy but I've lost 2lbs already....won't hurt to gain them back

I never ate breakfast before either before and now if I dont eat within an hour or so Im crippled with extreme nausea so Ive learned I need to eat immediately. Sometimes a bagel or cereal or yogurt and a protein bar will do sometimes like this morning I need something hot like an egg sandwich. I just need food...all the time it seems

I make a lot of smoothies. Milk or yogurt, carnation instant breakfast, frozen berries, banana, peanut butter. I need protein in the mornings but I have a hard time eating it until about noon, especially eggs. I also love yogurt, granola and dried cherries.

I usually do vegan smoothies during the week and peanut butter toast on the weekends.

I was also going to suggest leftovers from dinner, sandwiches, favorite lunch or dinner foods or bigger portions of snack foods that you can tolerate. You don't have to have traditional "breakfast" foods.

I do smoothies, too. They seem to go down pretty easy in the mornings.

I haven't gotten any bagels yet this time, but with my 1st pregnancy that's all I ate for breakfast most days. After I could feel him kicking, he would always go nuts after I ate this. Cinnamon and raisin bagels, and I put cream cheese on half. The other half I put peanut butter on with some sliced banana. YUM!!! Top it off with a big glass of milk. Ok, now I need to go get bagels.
