A good breast pump. I am adamant on breastfeeding, but plan on going back to work after a couple of months. Pumping will be key.

A swing. We have everything else, and we're getting my friend's infant carseat, but a swing was essential with DD so I feel like even though all babies are different, we absolutely must have one.

A good carseat...which my friend is giving me a brand new not even opened one. I'm not wild about the color if I have a girl, but this is the Chicco keyfit 30, which is what I definitely wanted to buy, and money is going to be tight, so I can't be picky

The next item is a good breast pump. I plan on BF exclusively until I go back to work, and then pumping after that. I also think that this choosing a pump is going to be the hardest decision of them all. It's new territory for me, and none of my friends ever pumped so I have no idea what's what etc.

The last item I'm insistent on getting is a swing. And after a "quick" target trip for groceries with my boyfriend the other day...we wandered into the baby section where the boyfriend saw a swing with monkeys on it and decided that it was so adorable and we HAVE to get it for baby. lol. that was the first thing that he was actually excited about buying in the future. haha

I have most of my must have's if baby is a boy, though I am thinking I might get a ring sling or another wrap this time. If baby is a little girl my must haves will be a long list of girly items since this house is painted with boy things!!!

I am dying for an amazing wrap and an awesome double stroller for Everett and Katelynn. Other than that we have pretty much everything.

Apparently (according the SO) we HAVE to get a jogging stroller (in case he wants to go for a run and take the baby)... IMO, I must have a good breast pump...

Since it's been 6 years since my 'baby' was a baby, we're going to need most big ticket items. The only ones I'm too concerned about, though, are a decent car seat and a decent pump. I have no problem going secondhand for most other things.

I really don't need anything new. I have a gorgeous woven wrap that I barely used with M because I started when she was too big and wiggly and opinionated and she was NOT cooperating with my learning process but I want to start super early with new baby! So that will be sort of new I guess.

We already have an infant carseat (will be only 2 years old and used for about 9 months), arms reach cosleeper, bouncer, ergo, ring sling, woven wrap, blankets, cloth diapers, clothing, toys, etc. If we are having a boy, I may have some fun getting some boyish diaper covers and clothes and toys, but most stuff we have is gender neutral because I am not into super girlyness in general.

Sort of hoping for a boy so I can have an excuse to buy SOMETHING

We have all the big ticket items except for a double stroller.

Jess, we out a lot if miles on the BOB ironman. Bourne did a 20 miler (he was just over a year) when my husband was training for the LA Marathon.

I need an infant carseat since I got rid of mine last year. I also need to get a carseat adapter piece for my jogging stroller since I also got rid of my travel system stroller. There are a few things that I'll want, but really we have all the necessities.

i must have a new moby wrap (mine is all stretched because it was handed down twice), a second boppy so I don't have to carry it up and down the stairs every day, and I think I want a rock n play sleeper.

The "want" list just keeps getting bigger. But I think all we really need is some newborn cloth and an infant carseat. I'd like to add an ergonomic carrier, a swing, a cosleeper, and a bouncer to that too, though.

More cloth diapers! If it is another boy, we will need absolutely nothing except more CDs. If it's a girl, we'll need some clothes and diapers, but everything else is pretty gender neutral. I'd like to get a sit n stand stroller at some point, too!
