What are some of your favorite dishes for Thanksgiving dinner? This is my first year cooking the whole meal and my first year with SO, so I'm trying to think of everything delicious to cook..

So far my plan includes: Turkey, homemade mac & cheese, green bean casserole, and that's where I get lost.

Sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, potatoes au gratin...they're all essential for me, lol. Oh, and I make a super deep dish apple pie.

My list is about the same: Turkey, Ham, Dressing (i make mine homemade), mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, vegetable tray, deviled eggs, rolls, pumpkin pie, apple pie, chocolate pudding pie (my favorite and my dad has to make a pie for each of us kids to have as our own). Then the family brings all kinds of other little things.

I LOVE THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!

I LOVE Thanksgiving! It's my favorite food holiday lol! My family traditions include: two types of dressing (giblet and oyster), sweet potatoes topped with marshmallows, cranberry sauce, pillsbury rolls, mashed potatoes, pumpkin pie, apple pie, pecan pie...and I'll be making a couple of DH's family favorites: squash casserole, stuffing, chocolate pecan pie....and now I'm adding deviled eggs and considering mac n cheese from the above lists!! LOL Sometimes we make a green bean casserole but I don't think it's on the list this year, everyone voted no lol but corn sounds good!

My all time favorite is green bean casserole. I have to watch myself or I will fill up on that and not have room for anything else lol.

I also love stuffing and pumpkin pie.

Thanksgiving is my favorite!! I love all the food. My dad fries a turkey, my MIL smokes a turkey, DH's uncle makes homemade sausage stuffing, DH's aunt makes delicious homemade rolls, SIL does homemade mac and cheese, I make cheesy hashbrown potato casserole, sweet potato casserole, and a jello mold. Typically someone does a green bean casserole too. Then the desserts are amazing too. I'm doing a black bottom pumpkin pie this year and a Derby pie (pecan pie with less nuts and more chocolate chips). My dad is doing a White Chocolate Cranberry Cheesecake this year. My MIL is making these delicious peppermint cookie bars.

I would love that stuffing recipe if you are willing to share ^^^

I LOVE THANKSGIVING!!!! We always go to my in laws first and I barely eat there because I don't like it as much, lol. I am gluten free also and so is my mom and sister, so we have a gluten free feast and it is so yummy.

Mashed potatoes, homemade stuffing, gravy (my mom makes it from scratch and it is soooooooo good), sweet potato casserole or mashed, squash, rolls (my sister makes sweet potato rolls with honey cinnamon butter), turkey, pickles, olives, everything!!!
