Hi everyone!
I am currently pregnant with my second and just heard of Ramzi's theory. Although I won't feel confident about gender unless the ultrasound can "see the goods" later on in the pregnancy, I thought this would be fun to look at. Here is my ultrasound from 6 weeks -- transvaginal.
I am confused as to what I was looking at, so I asked the doctor (although a different sonographer took this earlier). She said that the darker "space" on the right of the photo is my cervix and that the smaller point of the sac is kinda of pointing down. She said it wasn't really on the right or left, but again, maybe someone else can figure it out who has more experience than me!

In case you have never heard of it...Ramzi's theory says that early in pregnancy, I think between 6-8 weeks, if you look at which side the PLACENTA will form, you have about a 97% accuracy in telling the gender. Girls on the left and boys on the right. Again, it's not where the baby implanted, but on which side of the uterus the placenta is.

Appreciate it thanks :-)

Never heard of it. I usually have an anterior placenta, which is the front of the uterus. Welcome the the ddc though!

I never heard to it either! Sorry I am no help. My placenta is above kind of to the right since it is in my cesarean scar we have spent a great deal of time looking at it. If so that means BOY!! which I think already

I wish I heard about this the first time around. Then I could've seen if it was accurate or not. I have a gut feeling it's a girl (hoping for another one!) even though I am having a completely opposite pregnancy from my first!

Would that be mirror image? Like of you look at the ultrasound and it's on the right, would it actually be on the left? Also, my last us looks upside down. Where if you hold it so the baby is right side up, the words on it are upside down. Which way is it?
