Lots of you probably know this already, but this is a trick that really, really helps me. If you feel a cough or a sneeze coming on, tighten up your abdominals (like you're trying to suck in your stomach or do a crunch) and squeeze your pelvic floor muscles (do a kegel) FIRST. Really helps prevent round ligament pain due to coughing or sneezing.

Oh, and my doc refers to RL pain as "pulling pains". I thought that was funny, never have heard that term before!

I will have to remember that! My doctor calls them pulling pains too lol

lol thats funny that you posted this. i have been having alot today.. usually i get them for a split second every couple days but today i have been having them on and off all day.. i think it was because i am cleaning and getting ready for decorating for christmas! but good reminder knowing that the baby is growing and therefore need more space grow baby grow!!

Yup, learned this trick pretty fast with my first one. Also: start wearing panty liners now! Curling up and/or tightening your abdominal muscles will make it more likely for you to pee a little.

I've already felt the horrible twinges in my lower half that means i'll be limping soon (my uterus pulls hard to the right making a horrible pain my left thigh) *sigh*
