Sunday my son Leiland didn't nap nut an hour and went to bed around 6am. Then yesterday he woke at 4:15am. I was exhausted. After a couple hours he and i fell asleep for just under 2 hours on the couch. We went up to take a bath and i noticed more spotting. After my bath i called the ob and they got me in at 1. She did and exam and saw spotting but my cervix was closed. So she sent me for an ultrasound. The tech wouldn't show me the screen or tell me if there was a hb. So i went back to the ob to wait. She came to tell me there was a sac but no fetus. It measured 6w6d and no.hb. So i did blood and went home to see if.it passes on its own.
Here's the kicker. We were hanging out as a family and my son fell off the couch. He wasn't calming so i took his shirt.off and we both knew it was broken. Took him to the er and he indeed broke his elbow. After waiting forever they finally took me and him by ambulance to DC to the Children's hospital. We've had almost.no sleep all night and he is now in surgery. My poor 18 month old is in pain. It should all be ok but what a hell of a night.
Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to start- First hugs to baby Leiland- it is NO fun having a broken bone, especially at such a young age, and to have surgery too! Poor guy!
Second, I am so sorry to hear about your news at the doctor. I can't imagine how heartbroken you must be. Many hugs to you, and a lot of thoughts and prayers.
