I don't think my midwife is going to do that...I'm just finished with my first trimester now, but there hasn't been any mention of it. I think, unless there's a problem, I won't get an ultrasound until the anatomy scan at 18-20 weeks. I'm envious of the number of ultrasounds everyone else is getting. I want to see my baby!

LOL, I'm with ya, it's been 10 years since I had my twins. But all I did was a couple dozen tubes of blood (joking), different blood samples, urine, oh and I had to do a 24 hour urine collection, just because I was high risk last time and I had high blood pressure issues towards the end. I sign up for mostly every testing I can just to be safe. But first appts. are so exciting, I still can see the little bean in my head flipping around and moving it's arms. Hope you get some great pic's mama!!

I just had my NT scan yesterday. Mine went real easy. The ultrasound tech said baby was super cooperative and was in a good position, so she had time to flip over to 3D. It was kinda creepy this early on to see baby in 3D. Anywho, they were able to give me the nuchal fold measurement immediately, but I have to wait about a week for the combined risk assessment because I just got my blood drawn yesterday. It was pretty cool to see how big my baby is now!

I've never had it with either of my other kids. However, the office my doctor goes through has started offering it to everyone, not just if there is concern. I have mine in about 2 weeks. So excited to see my bean again! I've never had this many u/s before!!!
