Just curious for those of you that have had an u/s around 10w was it transvaginal or on the tummy? I have had two so far (both vaginal) but just wondering what to expect so far.

I had one today that was abdominal and I measured 10w1d. It was a quick one and they were only able to get one angle.

I had one at 8 weeks and I thought she was going to do a vaginal one but she did an abdominal one. She said she wanted to try it first because I am thin and it worked fine (believe me I don't feel thin!!!)

Believe I counted 20-24 sonos with B. He had an entire photo album before he arrived. The cool part is we really got to know his personality before he was born.

I believe all my1st Tri sonos were vaginal then abdominal after that.

It depends on the machine. The only one I've had that was transvaginal was at 5w3d. They actually did it abdominal first but when they couldn't see a heart beat, they did a transvaginal (still couldn't see a heart beat). I had another abdominal at 6w5d, 8w2d and 9w4d. They were all level 2 ultrasounds.
