It's a thought, I guess but hadn't really had any plans to. Thinking about it more though now that you bring it up.

I have been thinking about it ... we did with our last (a month after he was born =\). I design my own, which I always have fun doing. But really, I communicate with most people via Facebook/email anymore, so I don't know if I'll send any or not.

No. Everyone will see tons of pics on facebook. I'm going to be too busy with a newborn and a 23 month old to be worrying about finding addresses and getting envelopes ready.

No. We are very close with all our friends and family and communicate with everyone via email, phone, and FB so I see no need for birth announcements. FB will be blown up with pictures anyway and I will be waaaay too busy with a 5 year old, 2 year old, and newborn to worry about birth announcements anyway

I always think it is a good idea but I got so bust last time. I guess it will depend on how I feel.

Absolutely.. I have so much family that's in other states that I know they'll love it. Plus, in my delightful care package from the doc today, I got a coupon for 20 free birth announcements from vistaprint.com lol

I doubt it. I am not a mail person. I wanted to e-mail my sons birthday invites this year... but decided against it. I do however plan on sending a few 4x6's to out of town family that are not on facebook. Especially my older aunts!

Yep. We did when Jade was born. I just had envelopes pre addressed before she was born so that all that needed to be done was to fill in the date n time n weight...which took me about 15 minutes. And then DH just dropped em off in the mail. We have tons of older family that doesnt use FB or even computers lol

I probably won't. My mom's side of the family is close enough that I won't need to, and my dad's side of the family really won't be that interested.

No, our family is so close, they will all likely know the moment the baby has it's first cry and there is facebook for everyone else.
