Today, the kids and I are making oatmeal cookies, peanut butter cookies, and chocolate chip cookies..

I may make something more later, but we will be having scalloped potatoes and ham for dinner, so I need my oven back soon hahha

I usually do, and I make LOTS of cookies and give a bunch away. But since this year we're flying out to be with my parents in California for the holidays, I'm going to hold off on baking, since my mom has decided since all 3 of us (I have 2 sisters) will be home that weekend before Christmas, we will do all HER holiday baking for her (she gives away cookies as well). I figure baking with my sisters is way more fun than baking alone, and I really don't need to eat twice the amounts of cookies

I usually do a pecan pie for my dad, sugar cookies for my mom (she says I can't come to Christmas if I don't bring them), and then more sugar cookies and other random goodies for DH and kiddos. I have a candied almond recipe that is YUM, and I will be adding those to the rest.

That's about it, though, aside from making lots of homemade bread and rolls for Christmas day.

I usually do apple pie, lots and lots of cookies (the types change every year), biscotti, pumpkin cheesecake, and my personal favorite brioche. Christmas morning we have brioche french toast with a egg casserole bake or something.

We make needhams every year, we already did it on Black Friday this year.

I also make roll out sugar cookies, and other things but nothing set in stone. I like mexican wedding cakes but they are so bad for you! I like to make fudge too.

I make homemade gluten free cinnamon buns on Christmas Eve for Christmas morning. I give some to my mom and sister so they can have them when they wake up too.

I LOVE baking, too!! I'll make a bunch of different cookies this year also....I already have a ton of new ones pinned on pinterest!! And always my husband's family classic; santa's whiskers (so good!) My bunch usually includes a thumbprint cookie, peppermint bark, something with a hershey kiss, and something with red & green sprinkles! lol

My step-mum and I make mince pies together every year, and my specialty is meringues. I usually make dozens and dozens and dozens of peppermint meringues and chocolate meringues, and fill up tins to give out as gifts to neighbours and teachers and friends. We also make brownies for Santa instead of cookies. It's my husband's gramma's secret recipe that she gave to me as a wedding gift, and they're AMAZING.
