Congratulations! You can do it. I quit before I concieved DD. It was the hardest thing I ever did. Try to find a new good habit to start at those times when the cravings are the worst ...first thing in the morning, after meals and before bed. Maybe a few yoga stretches with deep breathing...chew gum, eat something healthy, whatever works for you. Soon you won't even think about it, the smell of it will make your stomach turn, and you'll wonder how you ever smoked. Good luck and stay strong.

Lurker here from March DDC. I just wanted to say how very proud of you I am This will probably be one of the hardest things you will ever do but your baby will thank you!

Best of luck! If your not allergic sunflower seeds work wonders.

You are a rock star! I think as all the ladies have said- quitting is so so so hard...I don't think anyone fully gets how hard it is until they have been there themselves! Hugs and Cheers!

That's awesome! I've never been a smoker, but I've watched friends & family quit. I can't imagine how hard it is for you! Good luck! I hope it gets easier soon!

I quit 2 weeks before i found out I was pregnant. The first 10 days were miserable, I won't lie. Just know it will pass. Use hard candies and sunflower seeds. I also had an app on my phone that was a support group, I could talk to when i got the urge. i also counted the day since quitting, cigs not smoked and time and money saved. it was a great motivator. it will get easier I promise. I never thought I could do it and I am over 50 days now. I still get an urge but they are very easy to pass. Keep it up for you and your baby. you won't regret it!!
