No heartbeat. In fact, no baby to be seen; just a speck on the side of the sac. The doc says we're just still really early, but it's hard for me to feel relaxed. Did anyone else feel like they were developing slowly and go on to a normal pace? He said I'm probably just about a month pregnant.

Also, he said I have a tilted uterus?

Me! I went in with my daughter and the baby had no heartbeat but a week later she did! With your m/c you can be off on your dates. Huge hugs Hun.

Definitely can be off and with a tilted uterus it makes it much harder to see the baby even if the baby is already there this early. You could be seeing part of the yolk sac and once the baby is a little larger you will be able to see it on the ultrasound.

Does he have plans for a repeat one?

Yes. In two weeks. These quick extra ultrasounds are "on the house." I have the best doc ever.

When I went in at 6 weeks, that's exactly what we saw. A speck on the side of the sac. I went back in 4 days later because of spotting. He didn't want to do another us bc it could irritate the cervix more, BUT he said we wouldn't see any difference at that point. So try not to worry!

Try not to worry, we just saw an empty gestational sac on my first US at 6 weeks and 1.5 weeks later, everything just appeared! I hope you will be able to see more at the next US.

In the picture you posted it totally looks like the yolk sac on the bottom left side. That is what they saw on me at my 6 week 6 day ultrasound. I also have a tilted uterus. I was told at that point even a day makes a difference on what you can see. I hope next time you go back you get to see baby and a little heartbeat!

Hoping the dates are just off. I know this can't be easy but there is hope as the PP's have shown.

I don't know much about it because my first us was at like 8 weeks 5 days. It sounds like everyone has had experience with this being completely fine! I am sorry you have this stress right now though!

when i went in for my u/s last week.. i thought i was 10 weeks even.. and the baby measured at 8 weeks.. and the lady told me that the egg probably released later then normal.. but the baby looked fine.. and had a normal heartbeat.. i hope that could be your case.. and when you go back they see a baby in there.. sometimes our bodies do funny things.. and i have been sitting here scratching my head wondering why the baby was only measuring at 8 weeks...but i probably just ovulated later then i thought.. I hope for the best for you.. and good luck..

They had a hard time seeing things really well on my first ultrasound because I have a tilted uterus too! It seems to even out later on and it makes things easier to see.. but it can make the first one a little tricky. I wouldn't worry
