Anyone thought of what they are going to do for the nursery yet?? IF I end up with boy/girl twins I REALLY want to do a Mr. Men, Little Miss theme. I used to collect these books and some items so I would have something to start with, but I would probably have to make the bedding. What did you have for your past nurseries???

Easton had Cat in the Hat. IT wasn't very available then but it is now of course haha

We were torn between Winnie the Pooh, Phineas and Ferb and Star Wars, and luckily, we have our Risk game out all the time so we just assigned each theme a number and rolled the die, and it landed on Winnie the Pooh. We won't have a nursery until after the baby is born, and we move, but I've already started buying material (hooray for Hobby Lobby sales!) and plan on starting to make blankets and stuff soon

Right now the nursery is painted a light green (Piglet sweater green to be exact). Lily's theme was a hint of classic Pooh. We had illustrations from the original books framed and hung on the walls. I wanted something more girly for Abri, but DH refused to paint the nursery again. Luckily I found pink and green floral bedding that matched the wall color. I made curtains and dust ruffles to match each bedding sets we had. I'd like to completely change it this time. For a girl, I'd like to go with purple. For a boy I want chocolate brown, aqua, and lime green

We are prob gonna go with a baby jungle/giraffe theme (color will depend on gender). My husband already ordered a giant stuffed animal giraffe from amazon!

I don't think I'll go with a theme. I'll probably paint walls white and grey and add either coral or teal accents and bedding.

I don't know if you're crafty or not, but my BIL and SIL did jungle with all of their kids, and I have TONS of fabric scraps I could send you. I have green "boy-ish" material, and I have really cute pink material with giraffes.

I am not a character person I like a more classic feel. My boys nursery was nautical sailboats etc. With navy light blue and white gingham Nautica bedding. I paid so darn much for that bedding I hope I can use it a third time. I am head over hills for our nursery.

If it is a girl I imagine I will do maybe a pattern rather than a character or theme. I am thinking polka dots or paisley!

Thank you so much! I am not very crafty but I try! I'll wait until I know the gender so then I can plan the color theme accordingly.

We had a sports theme for Connor's room. I really love the arctic animals theme, which could go either way for boy or girl. If it's a boy maybe a zoo animals/safari theme, and if it's a girl, something pink, princess-y and girly!!

I made his letters myself! A very proud moment! ha ha

We did the Classic (not Disney) Winnie the Pooh for my son's room. My mom used to read the old books to us when we were kids, and I just love the original drawings. We were Team Green and wanted gender neutral so we wouldn't have to decorate the room for multiple kids if we had a different gender. We'll use it again for this baby. It's so nice not having to do that room again. BUT....now we have to decorate my son's new room so the baby can use the nursery. Oh well. Better than having to do 2 rooms right now.

No nurseries here. We like to cosleep, so baby doesn't need its own room for a while.
