I have my second appointment today, and I am nervous for some reason. I keep reading about you ladies having the NT scan done, at my first appointment my doctor didn't mention having one done. So, now I am wondering if I will have one done, I am going to ask him about today.
Does anyone else get nervous before appointments?
*Update* Well, my appointment was pretty boring, except the nurse couldn't find the heartbeat, and it took the doctor a little bit to find it. Little peanut wouldn't stay still long enough, but he was finally able to hear it really well. I forgot to ask about the NT scan, dang pregnancy brain. But, I will be having a quad screen done in January, then two weeks after that we will have the big ultrasound. I hadn't told any family yet about the baby, given the situation. But, I told my mom and grandma today and they are really excited. So, now I have that weight off my shoulders and feel like I can really enjoy the pregnancy now.

I was never offered an NT scan in my first two pregnancies which is surprising to me since it was through a military hospital. I was however offered one by the private u/s place that my homebirth midwife used. I found that odd but we declined anyways.
An NT was offered but we declined since insurance doesn't cover it for us. I do get nervous before appointments with this pregnancy because things are really different than my uncomplicated first two pregnancies.
I have two daugthers and this wasn't around with either of them (they are 8 and 19). I did ask my tech yesterday if this was new and she said it was a fairly new test. I personally enjoyed it just becuase I got to see baby, but I was really nervous beforehand. But baby waved and it was great!
