i am still getting pretty bad sickness, to the point that my throat hurts and bleeds, the gagging is really hurting and can sometimes cause cramps. I can deal with the sickness but i am worried about the effect on the baby
So sorry you are still feeling so bad! Imo I wouldn't think it'd harm baby unless you very ddhydrated... our bodies put baby first so you're more likely to suffer more then your baby! Hope you get to feeling better and get some relief soon!
I have been rather lucky...by my own standards this pregnancy. I might still vomit, but it is NOWHERE as bad as it was with my last two boys.
I puked everyday with them, 3-4 times a day the ENTIRE pregnancy.
Rest assured, they came out, at term, weighing 8lb10oz and 8lb 3 oz and both of them healthy as an ox.
It is an old wives tale that the sicker the mommy, the healthier the baby. Or maybe that is just some crap my grandmother fed me to boost my morale when I was throwing up so hard i was breaking blood vessels in my face.
The truth is, my kids were very healthy and strong. And as backwards as it seems, I'm worried about the health of this baby BECAUSE I am not as sick as I was with them.
usually the biggest concern is for mama, not baby... our bodies do some incredible things and will pull nutrients straight out of the bones to nourish the baby. But it certainly isn't good for you! I hope they will prescribe you something to give you some relief! Feel better
JaxonJocelyn Gabriel Grayson and due in September!
