I haven't ever actually bought anything off the commercial itself, but I DO love browsing the "As Seen on TV" aisle to buy the stuff when it actually makes it to the store. I have bought a lot of that stuff.. (confession!)
I have a Snuggy and a pair of Pajamagrams lol. LOVE the pajamagrams.
Um.. I have a Shamwow, which I actually like! And of course I always had Chia Pets growing up and they started out on informercials!
Lets see, I also just bought those cups to make tortilla shells for taco salad, but I haven't tried them. I also got my grandma that tomato plant thing that hangs upside down and she really likes it.
The only thing that I have HATED was a hair straightener I got as a gift. I think it was called a Kyoseki? Worst thing ever... I think I will stick to my good ol' one I bought from Sally's years ago
As you can see.. I am gullible and should not be allowed to carry a credit card anywhere near a store that carries this stuff LOL.
JaxonJocelyn Gabriel Grayson and due in September!
I don't buy things off the infomercials, but I do have this tupperware-type thing that was an As Seen On TV product. It has three sizes of containers with one size lid that fits all. And it has a lazy susan cady thing. I really like it and have had it for years
I havent bought things from the actually infomercial but I have several as seen on TV products. The main ones would be the kids pillow pets and dreamlites lol. I also have a baby bullet that I liked. My mom bought me that pedegg one time and it was awful.
oh my lord, the dreamlite madness. We have the penguin one now, thanks to santa. I've never bought anything directly from the commercial, as I know someone who did, and they got charged with all sorts of crazy nonsense. I think I remember that he was added to a "monthly fee" type of product introduction thing, and it took close to a year to be removed from the service. All for buying a Charlotte Church CD.
I did buy squishy bath from toys r us, and the dreamlite from bed bath and beyond.
DS on the other hand will watch infomercials like they are cartoons, and then tell me how much I NEED a new vacuum/slushy magic/space bags/etc...
