of one baby anyway....

story is we went to the ER today...I had green mucous discharge. Turned out to be a mild infection and I need some antiboitics.

But they did a full ultrasound to check the placenta, cervix, head growth, blood flow and heart beats. The babies were moving around A LOT. And the tech in the ER would barely let me see the screen and they wouldn't let DH come back with me. I saw baby A's potty shot and in that split second I couldn't see any sign of boy parts but again it was quick and I had a bad angle.

BUt they did send us home with a CD of pictures and on it was a shot of Baby B's potty shot (none of Baby A's though...all I got was a leg of that one )

SO what do you guys think??? I'm almost 15 weeks and they are measuring 15 weeks 2 days overall.

Hmmm...I don't know! At first I thought boy for sure, but then I saw the lines and thought it could be swollen girl parts. I'd lean more towards boy though.

Early on, both boys and girls have boy-like appendages, but it starts to go away for girls around the 12th or 13th week and should be completely gone between 16 and 18. The 3 lines make me think girl and that things just haven't moved where they need to yet. I don't think boys have the lines at any time. I have looked at entirely too many u/s pics bc I want to be able to tell on my own when we go and not have to trust what someone else says. But I am no expert and that is my best guess.

Well I thot boy at first .. but Im not quite sure.. I also had a shot of my boy at around 26 wks where it showed the lines and they told me he was a girl.. yeah I know what ur thinkn how in the world do they mess it up that far along huh! I was told at 36 wks he was a she by the same tech that said he was a girl but you could def tell it was a boy at 36 wks! thank goodness I found out.. even tho everything was pink by then!....I still look back at that photo and literally it looks identical to the shot of my dd when they told us she was girl..crazi... maybe it was the angle of the shot im not sure.. but I was skeptical with both my girls after that haha!

I know we have no idea what to think. I know people go to those private ultrasound places right at 15 weeks and after seeing this I'm thinking I would be even more confused.

We REALLY want boy/girl. DH would rather have two boys than two girls and I'm really torn. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE two girls. I want a girl so badly. But then just the thought of never having a boy makes me sad. So I guess I really don't care so much. I just want two healthy babies.

Oh my goodness. I think I would have been heartbroken to have attached to all girl stuff and then found out boy. That almost makes me want to go back to our plan of waiting until birth but we decided that with twins we need to know about clothes so we can get things on sale.

With my second we were told he was a girl and there were three definite lines there but he's all boy. I was around 18 weeks with him. Yours looks like a boy to me but I see the lines too so I'm not sure. I'm going to stick with boy though. Can't wait until you find out for sure!

I'm going to say boy. Do you have a date for the gender ultra sound yet?

No I'm not sure how they are working that yet. We have our appointment with the high risk ob at 17 weeks and we are hoping to find out then. My regular ob made it sound like they would be the ones doing all of the ultrasounds from here on out.

There's a whole forum that is good at figuring this stuff out.. I've never been there but I would try posting it there to see what they think. I'm just as confused as everyone else here. Hope you get girl/boy twins so you and DH both will be happy
