I have been loosing weight this whole pregnancy. I am down 13 pounds.. Haven't been sick at all just no appetite. I get something to eat and take one or two bites and its hard for me to swallow it. I know I need to eat but not sure what I can do to make it more pleasant. I also think it could be a mental thing because I am scared to gain the weight I did with my son of 80 pounds.
Wish i would have lost instead of gaining. I gained even when i wasnt eating anything and was throwing up constantly Just eat right and exercise and remember not to overdo it. And also remember weight gain isnt the enemy...some weight gain is good for baby.
I have been having a hard time having a real taste for some things. Especially when it comes to eating breakfast. So I started making smoothys and shakes for meals. Frozen fruit, French vanilla.yogurt, V8 fusion, and peanut butter is my fave! They are delicious and go down so nice and smooth. Also they have a lot of good nutrition in them. They are a great substitute for when I'm feeling icky.
Hugs! I can understand your worry about gaining, I gained 76 pds with my first.. then preg again 6 months later with 40 to still lose and gained 40.. needlss to say i was huge by the end of my second pregnancy! so with my 3rd i had finally gotten all my weight off so i was so cautious and also lost weight from the worry of gaining to much! i ended up gaining right @ 30 pds and lost it all within about 2 months. hope youre able to get past what youre feeling and enjoy your pregnancy! its def hard though!! goodluck!
I lost 11 pounds between weeks 6 and 12 with DD. My dr told me it was fine and that the baby gets what it needs. He said to just do my best to eat what I could when I could. Try not to stress and just eat what sounds good to you. I totally get your concerns about gaining too much weight. I am a freak about that. I can fully sympathize about that and have no tips there. If you come up with anything to calm those fears, let me know. But do the best you can eating and try to to worry.
I lost weight and am just now gaining it back because I was so sick and not hungry at all. Not to offend you or anything but, were you overweight before you got pregnant this time? All of my friends who were overweight to start all lost weight overall or just ended up even with where they started when they had babies. Just a thought...
