Oh gosh i just had such an emotional moment. Ok back story...last fall we had two bunnies in our yard that had 3 babies...and both mom and dad got killed in the winter. We werent sure if those tiny little babies would make it but sure enough they did. So we have three darling little girl cottontails that live in our yard. They are wild completely but know we wont hurt them. My favorite of the three is the smallest girl who isnt a plain gray..shes cinnamon colored was huddled in the lilacs near our driveway and DH told me she looked like she was pretty cold. That was at 9...when the temps was 0 with a windchill of-12. It is now-11 with a windchill of -25 or better and i just broke down bawling cuz Im worried about the dang wild bunnies. Jeeeez. My DH keeps trying to assure me they are fine. But still Im worried. So i turned my dryer on so they could maybe get warmth near the vent. It makes me feel better anyway lol
Oh man, I cried almost thinking about those bunnies! I'm such a softie when it comes to animals to begin with, let alone now that I'm pregnant. I'd be out there putting down hay and rabbit food and all that for them near their hutch. So glad I don't have any bunnies in my yard. Haha.
