We are set on a boy's name (99% sure, anyway). I suggested Lily Anne for a girl's name and hubby really, really liked it, but now I'm not so sure! We usually stick with traditional, Christian names that are also family names; our last name is English so a lot of the names we like don't sound good with the last name. Anyway, the more I think about it, the more I think Lily Anne sounds too "hick". Our other children are:
Robert Kale
Raechel Elaine
Daniel Steven
Joseph Lyle Neal
Thomas Michael
Mary Mae
Lucy Marie

and then maybe either John Anthony or Lily Anne

What do ya'll think? You can be honest.

I think it's lovely. I'm also a fan of classic, simple names.

I think it's lovely! I combined the two for my oldest's name- Liliana but she just goes by Lily most of the time

I think Lily Anne is super cute! I love the name Anna/Anne though. I think it's timeless and works at any age. I think all of your other names sound great, too. We're having a horrible time with middle names.

Both are on my short list as well. Lol. And sometimes it does depend on who says it. My sister has such a Texas twange, she can make any work sound "hick". Lol

I absolutely love both names and definitely don't think Lily Ann sounds hick at all. Very cute choices! I love your other children's names too. I might come to you if I need any help with names!

I think Lily Ann is lovely. We have two Lilys in our fam...lily and a lilliana. And to me Lily Ann sounds classic and timeless. Not at all hick!

Yeah, I think I'm convinced. The more I say it to myself the more I like it again. And I certainly can't think of anything I like better.
