I am SOOO much pain. That popping pain I posted about before we are pretty sure is becaue baby B is very very high up and is squishing everything behind my ribs. Everything is stretching and pulling and it hurts SO bad. To top it off I have a short torso so there wasn't much room for everything to shift to anyway. I can feel things popping and pulling around and near my ribs and sternum. UGH. My OB said bed rest or at least work restriction was likely around 25 weeks max I would work would be until 30 just due to the sheer uncomfortableness that most have with multiples and I thought no way...I'll make it longer.

YEA RIGHT. I'm dying now and I'm not even 16 weeks. These babies are stretched so far apart and both are transverse and stacked. Baby A dances on my cervix and bladder all day and Baby B is ripping my ribs apart

Hugs hun, that sounds rough!!!! It might get better in a few days and come and go with their growth spurts, at least mine has been like that. But a short torso and twins is a rough combo can you talk to your doctor about getting bed rest sooner?

I'm sorry! I can't imagine how much harder it is carrying twins. It can't be a simple multiply by 2. I hope you find a way to get some relief soon!

Thanks ladies. I would give anything for them to shift to side to side but I've heard that it may not happen for awhile. Probably sometime after 20 weeks. I see other twin ultrasounds and the babies are so close together and every time we have an ultrasound mine are so far apart. At least they're happy and enjoy the space for now.

I can only imagine the pain, as I have always had singletons. However, BTDT with bed rest. Sounds ok in the beginning, however it gets old really fast. I was on it from 26 to 32 weeks due to pre-term. After two days I was ready to go stir crazy. Television repeats all day or gets really terrible. My advice - get a kindle and stock up on some good books. Hope the pain subsides soon.
