Not really in the traditional way of romance. His way of romance is surprising me with something like bringing me some food ive been craving. Or buying me some trinket he seen me eyeing...just cuz. Or being strong for me emotionally when im having a weak moment. Being protective of me. Letting me choose where we go to eat etc. Stuff like that. He isnt the bring flowers or spout poetry guy. Hes not like the Notebook type romantic. But hes good enough for me cuz I hate mushy anyway. (My mom and female friends always say that they can always see how much he loves me when he looks at me tho....although im just like huh?) Lol.

My husband is romantic in his own way too.

He will bring me organic chocolate because he knows I love it on a tuesday, and then forget my birthday the following week.

He sets my coffee up every morning before he leaves for work and always done my honey-dos on his day off without complaint.

He rubs my feet at night before i go to bed, and he makes the bed and "tucks me in" before crawling in beside me.

Really, he treats me like a princess all year long, so when he forgets our anny...I let it blow over without much fuss.

After 10 years of being together, it is still really good.

Mine? Not so much. Every once in a while he surprises me by doing something sweet, but if I want to do something with him, it's pretty much on me. He always remembers my birthday and our anniversary and tries with gifts (often a very thoughtful swing and a miss), but I have to make the plans for what to do. He has especially been slacking lately. I have to ask for everything. But he started a new, high pressure job in December that keeps him busy and he was head hunted to teach classes in his field as a side gig b/c he is one of a few people holding particular professional certifications, so he is working ALL THE TIME. That's just more his way of loving though, working hard to provide more and better for our family.

HAHAHAHA! H3ll no! But that's fine, because I'm not either. Anyone observing us from the outside would probably think we are abusive to each other, but we joke with each other constantly. In fact, we've never had a fight in the 5 1/2 years we've been together.

Yes, very. Probably more than me! He is in the traditional sense. He brings me a new, fresh bouquet of flowers every week and enjoys going to places I can dress up nice. He sings to me in the car and tells me how beautiful I am every single day. I really am a lucky girl.

Well, after 17 1/2 years of marriage, our version of romance has definitely changed. For me, when he brings me coffee in bed, when he changes the two year old, when he fixes dinner because he knows I'm exhausted... that is VERY romantic.

Jealous! DH even forgot to tell me I looked nice on our wedding day. He will never live that one down. Your husband sounds like a wonderful man. Your daughter's future husband is going to have a lot to live up to!

My husband can be. I tell him every valentines day to not buy me anything but he goes overboard. He makes me breakfast in bed almost every weekend, gets up with Everett every morning, and we have a weird playful side too. For example I walk by and randomly pinch under his arm ect. We have been together almost 10 years and it has t changed.

My SO and I haven't been together long, but he's romantic in his own way like some of the other ladies have mentioned. He loves taking care of me, especially now that I'm pregnant. I've been sick the last few days and he's let me stay in bed and gone downstairs to make me tea with honey, he always makes the bed and loves tucking me in. We're super affectionate and I'm very grateful for that. He tells me every day that I'm beautiful/sexy/"some kind of woman" haha. He's bought me flowers for no reason and is always concerned about me long before he thinks of himself. <3 I'm so lucky.

He really is a great person. I think he learned to be that way because he was raised by his mother who is very traditional and old fashioned. But because of not having a father figure really growing up, he doesn't have a "macho" or sporty side. He is very domesticated LOL. He likes to cook, is very clean and organized. I think I have more manly mannerisms than he does HAHA. But yes, my daughter is going to grow up with some high expectations.
