Maybe babies length from crown to rump would be my guess...as to what that is in inches...I dunno my conversion is horrid. I do know they dont start measuring full length including legs until 20 weeks.
Oh and just checked my book...Average length of baby at 16 weeks from crown to rump is 4.3 to 4.6 inches
Okay I looked it up also! Those numbers do correspond to the machine, not the baby. A crown to rump measurement like Karry is referring to would show up on the bottom of the screen when they click and then drag that line from your baby's head to his bum.
