This is a Q&A post for our first time moms to ask our BTDT moms some questions they are dying to have the answers to. Diapers, newborns, pregnancy, birth, being a mom, first time DTD after baby, ect ect ect. Or if a BTDT mom has a question they are of course welcome to ask as well! If you do not feel comfortable posting your question feel free to PM it to me and I will post it for you without people knowing you asked it. So I would be the only one who would know.

Lube is your friend. Its not too bad honestly, at least is hasnt been for me. Now my situation for my first two is a little different as my husband wasnt home until David was 4 months old and Katelynn was a few months old as well. But with Everett we DTD 3 weeks or so PP and it was a tad uncomfortable but once we were going it was awesome. Especially because we missed the closeness. And I tore with all but Katelynn.

we waited the full 6 weeks, but it was HARD! One thing i didn't expect was to feel so hormonally sexy after delivery. I mean I was tore up, and bleeding and emotional, but hell, I just did what generations of women have done and provided my husband with offspring. It really made me feel "womanly" I guess.

Oh man, I can't even remember how long we waited after having Connor. I had a horrible c/s recovery, so that played a role as well, but it was like MONTHS before we DTD again lol. Luckily, I was super horny in the last trimester so he had it constant for the last few months of pregnancy HA!

I had a c/s and we waited about 3 months before DTD. It was ok, awkward maybe? After that initial time, it was much better.

I waited 6 days after my c/s, which was very bad of me, but he was helping me shower and stuff and well, sh*t happens. It was pretty amazing though.

My midwife told me that we didn't have to wait the 6 weeks if I felt up to it. We made it about a week and a half. It was a little uncomfortable the first time - and yes, lube is your friend - but for us being intimate is such a huge part of the relationship, it was important for us to get back to that quickly.

Wow, your husbands are lucky men! I haven't wanted ANYTHING to do with DTD since I got pregnant with DD! Like, DON'T touch me. Poor DH. The only time it's been enjoyable was when we made this baby, because of the idea that we were making a baby. I just don't get turned on anymore, ever.

It was probably a good 3 months before we DTD. Yeah, you gotta use lube for sure. Especially if you're BF because apparently that "dries you out"....ouch. Even with using lube, it still was pretty painful for me until about 6 months postpartum. I was hoping it would get better after just a few times, but no. Maybe this time will be different. *fingers crossed*

We probably ranged from 3-6 weeks Pp to dtd. Having caesareans I was most surprised at the tenderness I had... Not pain just felt like the first time!! And my yoohoo wasn't even used!!! So yes like navy said LUBE is your friend and if you nurse have some on hand to use for awhile as it tends to keep you dryer!

We waited the full 6 weeks, my husband was going crazy. He is already dreading having to wait that long again. It was painful but got better each time.
