Does anyone else have more than one cup of coffee a day? I TRY to limit myself to just one cup in the morning, but on some days I'm just soooo tired I have to have another cup later on. Please, make me feel better!

I so do (that is hit more than one cup per day). When my nurse said about giving up all together, I reminded her that I went from 6-7 cups of coffee and 2 glasses of wine to just 1-2 cups of coffee. Anything less would put my body in shock.

Some days I have nothing but I have been so tired latly I find myself needing two cups of coffee. It is still within the allowed limit so I try not to worry. Although I have decided to give up coke. I crave it way to often.

I drink way more caffeine than is recommended. I have one cup of coffee in the am, sometimes 2. Then I usually have a pepsi sometime in the afternoon. And for the past week I've been having a cup of tea at night! I need to be stopped!!

Ive been drinking coffee like nobody's business. I have been constipated for almost a week, and the idea if I can't get things moving on my own that I may actually have to see a dr for relief is making me fill up on coffee goodness as often as my nauseated stomach can handle it.

I told my old school grandmother I was drinking a lot of coffee and she shrugged and said "Eh, some women do crack while pregnant and most of those babies come out fine....I don't think the extra coffee will hurt."

I still laugh when I think about her logic.

You guys are funny. I feel much better now!

Pre-pregnancy I drank 4 to 5 cups a day, and a couple glasses of wine, so, I think one or two cups of coffee a day is alright. I just needed to know others were doing it too!

I've only been drinking coffee occasionally, maybe twice a week, but only because I had such an aversion to it early in pregnancy. I didn't drink any coffee for about 6 weeks! But I do have at least one diet dr pepper a day and usually tea on top of that too.

1-2 cups a day. Depends on how much is left in the french press. It only holds 4 cups and DH takes a travel mug to work so I get what's left. Usually it's 1.5 cups.. I get constipated w/o coffee. I quit it in the beginning but had a lot of bowel pain so started back up.

I only did one during the first trimester, but I'm LOVING it right now so I'm up to two. It's totally fine.

I don't like coffee really, so I never drink it. But believe me, I hit or exceed the caffeine limit on a daily basis through other means lol. I, too, have used the crack reference to how it could be worse lol. It may not be perfect rationalization, but hey it makes me feel better!

I have been having half decaf/half regular coffee everyday. If I wake up with a headache I have a regular cup.

Most days I'll have 2 travel size cups of coffee. Sometimes I'll have a mocha frappe and some days I only have 1 cup.

Yup, this is me!! I drink a lot of green tea and decaf green tea too, but usually limit myself to 2 cups of coffee in a day.

I miss wine......

I was only having one cup a day but in the past few weeks I started having two. It's the only way I can make it through work first thing in the morning!

I had such a bad coffee aversion the first couple months that I'm still not back to drinking coffee every day. I think it's fine, though. As the other ladies have pointed out, many of us drink way more caffeine than is recommended. I know my sister drank 2 large gas station cups of coffee a day with my niece and everything is just fine.

I'm not a big fan of coffee but I can't kick to Coke habit to save my life. I definitely drink more than the recommended amount of caffeine. Every. Single. Day. I did with my other kids too and they are just fine. I figure its not alcohol, cigarettes, or drugs so really, what's the big deal?
