When you bring baby home, where will he/she sleep?
If not in its crib at first, when will that start?

Probably in the pack and play bassinet in our room like Drake did. He moved into his crib around 5-6 months if I recall.

He/She will start out in a pack and play bassinet in the extra bedroom until we move and then he/she will sleep in a crib in his/her nursery.

I always thought my kids would go straight to their own room until I realized how tired I was constantly getting up to feed then walking back to my room to go to bed. Everett does not sttn so he still rooms in. We plan on moving him before the baby gets here. It's interesting to watch yourself change as a mom.

Depends on where the baby sleeps best, lol. They're all different. DD slept best in her swing for the first 10 weeks, so that's where she ended up. Then we moved her to her crib in her room without much issue. Either way this one will be in our room because we only have 2 bedrooms and I don't want a crying baby to wake up Eliza. We'll set up the crib but if baby doesn't sleep well there we'll find another solution. If I get to have a VBAC and can comfortably nurse side-lying, baby can sleep in my bed with me. With my c-section I couldn't lay on my side for a couple of months so I couldn't just nurse half-asleep, anyway. So we'll see. I'm keeping my mind as open as possible.

Grayson will be sleeping in a crib in our room. We don't have a separate nursery, but he will be moving in with Gabriel in his room when he sleeps through the night.

Most likely we'll do the same as we did with Connor. He slept in a bassinet (top of pack n play) next to the bed for the first few months. After that, he started sleeping in bed with us (we tried the crib thing a few nights, but it didn't work out). And it made it much easier to BF during the nights. DH sort of just dealt with it, since it didn't really affect him (he slept through the night with no problems lol and was up for work every morning). Although, he may push for the new baby to transition to a crib in our room (he doesn't mind them sleeping in our room, but I think he wants his bed back!)

In the past few months, we started having him sleep on his crib mattress on the floor next to our bed (I miss my space!!) and I want to transition him out of my bed before the new baby comes! I'm contemplating a "big boy bed" like Thomas the Train bed or race car bed to get him to sleep in his own room, but I'm not in a rush. With the move and all of the changes, he's already freaked out enough!!

Hopefully in the cradle next to our bed. It worked wonderfully for Jaleigh until she started sleeping through the night around 3-4 months at which point she was moved to her crib in her room. It didn't work so well for Kiefer. We started cosleeping because that's where he slept best. Now he spends the first half of the night in his toddler bed and the second half in mine. It's honestly exhausting so I'm hoping to not repeat that this time...at least not for so long.

I'm not entirly sure. I thought a bassinet next to my bed but I am really limited on spae. What does the co-sleeper look like. I know I want baby in our room just not in the bed, until we can transition into the crib in the nursery

In our room, in our bed and in a co-sleeper. He/she will room with us for a long time as right now we only have two bedrooms.

I know that cosleeping is very popular. I do not knock it.

However, for me, it is important to my relationship that we keep our marriage bed a sacred place for me and my husband.

For the first 3-4 months, baby will sleep in a bassinet in my room. After that, baby moves to the crib in the nursery. it is important to me to maintain certain boundaries.
