So Harper Marie or Harper Matthew

what do ya'all think?

remember we have a Debra, Kaydence and a Nolan
Lady KW likes this.

I love Harper. And I know Harper's who are boys and girls, so I think it can go either way. I also think it goes well with your other kids!

I went to high school with a guy named Harper, so to me it always makes me think of a male name. But then again, Harper Lee - author of To Kill a Mockingbird - was female, so really it goes either way.

I think it's a nice choice either way. I got teased mercilessly for having a boy name growing up (Courtney Ryan), but now those names are used for tons of girls.

We LOVED Harper for a girl but couldn't decide on what to go with it as far as twin names and then we ended up with two boys anyway. I have heard of it for both and I would have considered it for both but DH was totally aganist that. My SS's name is Addison and he was really upset that the year after he was born that name flew into the top 50 as a girls name. My SS doesn't seem to care that much though and he has never had anyone make fun of him. Harper is really getting up there as a girl name so it would be something to consider but all that matters is that you and your DH love it.

I like Harper for a girl. But I like boys names for girls haha, so it could be either. I like Amelia also, both are very popular though.

I have always liked Harper for a girl. It is funny because when I was preggo with my daughter, we had Harper picked out for a boy's name, Harper Quinn. So when she was a girl I didn't name her Harper. Now, I only imagine it being a girl name. Go figure!!
