Well, we got a good start on a registry today. We were very indecisive, and we don't have very much on it, but we did it!! I'm going to go back and take my girlfriend with me. She said she's good at that stuff, and she would make sure we have all the stuff we need on there.

The biggest thing we registered for was our carseat. After much debate and going back and forth we went with this one:

Graco My Ride 70 - Marston : Target

We decided we wanted something that could be used long term, rather than something that could only be used for for a year or two and then we would have to get a new one. Did anyone else go with a convertable carseat right away?

I totally understand wanting to get something that will last the longest, but I definitely want one that I can carry the baby in with.

We plan on wearing him most of the time, like when I take him out by myself and go grocery shopping, he'll be on me, for convenience. Plus, we're pretty sure my BIL is giving us his old infant carseat, and since using a used carseat is taboo, we might just use it as a carrier when we don't want to wear him. We'll just transfer from one to the other. At least that's DH's rational.
