Well, we found out yesterday we are having a girl. Luckily, we already have a name - the same one we would have used with Connor. It's been my "girl name" since before that even. So she will be Peyton. But we have no middle name. None of our family names sound good with Peyton, and our last name starts with an "S", so no "M" middle names (or she'll be PMS, same goes for "I" and "U"!) DH is also worried about length because our last name is 9 letters, if she ever has to write out her full name, she'll run out of room on forms! Ha

On our short list is:

Elizabeth
Riley
Anne (I'm not a huge fan, but it could grow on me. Reminds me too much of the poltergeist "Carol Ann" when I say the name )
Catherine/Katherine (DH not a big fan)
Rose (DH doesn't like at all)

Any other ideas for us to throw around? Thanks!

Awe! I just love the name Riley! And I am a fan of Rose too! If we were having a girl, her name would have been Annika Brooke. Any middle names picked out yet?

I love the name Anne (with an e!). It reminds me of Anne of Green Gables, which is one of my favouite books ever. If my name wasn't Joanne, I'd totally name my daughter Anne.

I, personally, like Ann only because that is a family name we have chosen for our middle name BUT I don't like the way it sounds with Peyton.

Out of your choices I like Elizabeth the best. I think it sounds very feminine and pretty with Peyton!

I like Anne best. I actually though that before I even saw it on your list. But I also think Riley sounds really nice with Peyton. And just for a giggle, my best friend (a guy) has the initials PMS. Haha. We tease him about it in love.

I told DH to start a list of "J" names. Connor's middle name starts with a "J" and I think it would be cool for them to have similar initials. DH wasn't fully on board yet! LOL I'm working on him though!

I think Peyton Elizabeth sounds the best out of the names you posted, and Peyton Rose sounds really pretty as well.

I like Riley the best. I think that sounds best with Peyton. In my opinion Ann is too overused as a middle name.

If Everett would have been a girl he would have been Payson Elizabeth. So since the names are similar I like Elizabeth.
