Also, don't spaz on the Csection, Ive given birth both ways and they both have their upside and their downside.
On the upside, your lady bits remain in tact and you don't have to have stitches THERE. The downside is you have stitches elsewhere. Upside...no horrible labor...downside...you don't really get to hold the baby right away.
One big upside I had, is they suction so much crap out of you after the baby is born, I didn't bleed nearly as long as I did with my first son. I didn't have a really hard recover from the surgery either, but I made sure I was walking the halls as soon as possible, as soon as I could because laying idle makes recovery harder!
Hey...just read your post. I am from April DDC. Mine moved up from 1 to 2 cm in 3 weeks. I am now at 2 cm, hoping that it will move even further away! But from all my friends who've had c-sections, they are not that bad. Good luck to you and don't panic yet!
Hi! I'm lurking around while holding my little one and saw this post. I wanted to assure you that your placenta can move, and that isn't much covering the cervix, so that's a good sign. I was put on light duty and NO SEX at all for almost 2 months of my pregnancy. At 28 weeks I had a ultrasound and it had moved...it was still covering my cervix at the appointment before it. It can happen. I would make them give me an ultrasound up until the last week if I had to before I had an unnecessary c section. Also, try not to do too much that can cause a bleed.
I also made myself sick with worry. I had tried to have this baby for a long time (2 IUI's) and then to hear things were complicated made me so upset. Everything turned out beautifully and I hope the same for you.
