I thought this might be fun for those of us who have a little gender disappointment. Everyone please add your thoughts

Bows, tutus and pigtails
There are 5 racks of girl's clothes to every 1 rack of boy's clothes in the stores
They generally aren't as rough as boys
Boys turn into teenage boys
Daddy's girls

Nailpolish and makeup (DD has lots of fun doing her nails and stealing my blush)

Shopping together

Going to the hairdresser together (we did this morning!)

All the hair accessories. We have so many bows, clips etc. I can't even keep track

Watching DD copy certain things I do whether its mannerisms or the way she wears her clothes

I'm trying to get into it lol so sorry for the pinterest spam! I'm hoping pinning girly things will help me past my GD!

Disney Princesses
Pink & Purple (cloth diapers, blankets, clothes, nursery)

Umm, that's all I got so far! lol but the pink & purple is carrying me far!

Doing their hair! And having spa days where you paint your toenails to match
I love doing that with my daughter.

A mamas girl (mine always wants me to heck with anyone else)

Little girls are made out of everything nice

Doing things with her that you used to love as a little girl

People always ooo and ahh ten times more over a little girl

Watching her with her daddy (Daddys treat girls different than sons...daddys little princess. It will melt your heart)

Ballet and gymnastics and all those other fun girlie sports and activities.

Her playing dress up in your shoes or clothes (Its so cute)

And I think girls are more in tune with those they care about.

Girls often milestone wayyyy ahead of boys...especially talking. (DD said her first word at four months and she now has a huge vocabulary at 2)

I know boys are supposed to be tougher but I think thats wrong. My DD is one tough cookie and wont cry over things that upset boys her age or older. (I think this is prep for when they get older cuz afterall guys could never handle cramps or childbirth lol)

They want to be JUST like you. My oldest copies me and is so interested in what I'm doing all the time. It's so sweet and for someone who doesn't have the biggest self esteem, it's so nice to have someone admire you that much.

I love playing with their hair!

They have a much bigger desire to be close to me than my son who is more independent.

They actually want to help with the girl chores at least at first, LOL

They can grow up to do the dishes! Sorry but this excites me way too much not having a dishwasher and all.

Little pampering/salon parties.

I dunno, just everything. They are so special and darling. I'm so lucky to have all my children.

Girl birthday party themes!! (Sorry, parties on the mind as Lily is having her Barbie-themed party tomorrow where they are all dressing up as their favorite Barbie character!)

Dance class. The tiny girls at the recitals are so adorable!!

Picture day- you can always find an adorable dress to put them in
