Can stretching pains feel like ovary pains? Yesterday, I started getting sharp pains in my left side where I would get ovulation pains. It just comes and goes and although it is sharp pains, it's not something that takes my breath away. The pain is sharp and lasts only a second. Sometimes I get several sharp pains in a row, but they still only last about a second a piece. It's always in the same spot. Could this be baby related or would you assume a cyst? I've never had a cyst before.

I've had the same thing the past week. Exactly where I would get ovulation pain. I have also had plenty of cysts in the past so i've been guessing thats what it is. I'm not sure though!

Bumping this to see if anyone else has any ideas.

Do you think it could be from not drinking enough water?

It could be pinching and stretching. I get these weird pulling and pinches too.

I've never had ovulation pain nor cysts but I do get these intermittent sharp pains where my ovaries are during this pregnancy. I'm just assuming its pregnancy related. I could be completely wrong.

I get pains that feel like ovulation pains too. they aren't as sharp as you described, but they seem to last a little longer. I remember with my other pregnancies I had them on and off too.

i get it too sometimes although its on my right side.
i mentioned it to the doctor and he says its round ligament pain. it usualy flares up worst for me when i use the toilet, also seems to come around with the days where my abdomen feels especially bloated like maybe i ate too much and its stretching more.
when i get the pain its not usualy brief. mine lasts a while, makes the area a bit tender to the touch and when i move wrong thats then i get a little jolt of pain
