I've been so indecisive about crib bedding.

Is the aqua a boy or girl color?

Personally I think it could go either way.

I think it's general neutral. I would stay away from white but that's just me.

I love the colour and agree it could be for a boy or girl (i'm not big on making certain colours specifically for either gender anyway), but I also wouldn't go with too much white.....I'd be worried about the possibility of horrible staining during a bad blowout. DD ruined SO many sleepers and sets of sheets

I always associate blue with boy (it looks more blue to me, maybe my computer! lol)

I think it could go either way, but since it is blue... I would tend to think more boyish.

I think it looks gender neutral and i also say dont go with white...especially with all the possible blowouts or leaks or spit up. Itd stain wayyy to easy.

I'm probably going to sound really stupid, but I thought you weren't supposed to use a quilt to cover baby, so what would the blowouts stain that is white? The polka dots?

You can use the blanket later, and after starting solids is when I would worry more about blowouts.

I think aqua could go either way depending on what colors you pair it with. With white it definitely seems more boyish, but we are pairing a similar color with purple for our girl's room.

We were given a bag of clothes and it had 20 plain white tshirts. I was shocked lol.

Aqua can definitely go both ways. It's obviously traditionally boy but I always had a blue room growing up. My girls share a room and it's painted blue. It all depends on how you decorate the rest of the space. For a girl, I just have a few more feminie details in the accessories. Heck I'm using fabric that has flowers and a touch of pink in my boy's nursery.
