Do you think you will hire someone to clean the house before baby arrives?

No, but my mom will come for an extended visit and she's pretty much a house cleaner/cook/and babysitter all rolled into one!

Even if I did i'm pretty sure DD would destroy it before I had a chance to enjoy it. My mom will *hopefully* be moving onto my street and loves organizing so maybe with a little bribery she'll want to bring her weekly house keeper my way

I have been a mad nesting woman the last couple weeks! I have been cleaning my house daily and deep cleaning every weekend. But if I get too tired and don't keep it up near the end I would like to hire someone yes. We are already planning to put some money aside from taxes to do that and get my carpets cleaned. They are sick!

Oh how I wish! Definitely not in the budget, unfortunately.

No. My children will tell you, I am a firm believer in child slave labor.

If I don't get a one time professional deep cleaning for my mother's day gift, I will be a single mother by June :-)

I wish - I thought about it but I think I would just so much anxiety and follow them around the whole time. The thought of a stranger in my house cleaning it and touching things seriously creeps me out. Perhaps if I knew someone in the business it'd be different.

We are getting ours done with taxes as well, whoever thought white carpet was a good idea for a rental had serious issues lol.

My husband wants me too in mid May. I'm thinking about it.

Nope. We're moving shortly after the baby gets here (like literally weeks after). And I'm pretty sure we don't have to do any cleaning before we move out (I think that's what our $90 redec fee was for). Even if we do, most of our stuff will be in boxes before the baby gets here anyways. No point in hiring someone to clean, if we're just going to mess it up again.

No, thankfully df is a bit of a neat freak, so our house is pretty clean most of the time. I have been nesting too like crazy, getting rid of things and organizing.

Ugh, I know! Our apartment carpet is like the LIGHTEST tan I have ever seen in an apartment. Everything shows up. We have only lived here about 6 months and I can't stand it. I need to invest in a personal carpet cleaner but I only have a spotbot

We have lived here a year in May but it doesn't matter what we do the carpet is dirty. Luckily it's only upstairs and downstairs is all tile.

Yes - after I clean purge enough to get everything in proper order. I work well in excess of 40 hours per week and already have two kids. DH may divorce me if I don't agree to a cleaning lady.

I wish it was even a possibility! We are over an hour from anywhere that would have enough people to have a cleaning service! My community has 180 households in 150x150 sq miles!!

I'm hoping my mom comes lol!!
