Everything looks great. Baby A weighs 11oz and B is at 13oz. They are both bigger for the time period but everything looks good.

Both have a slight heart thing. Sort of a flag for downs but only when paired with other factors and they don't have any of those. It is VERY likely to be gone by birth.

My cervix looks great and I am good to go for another 4 weeks and then they will check again.

Both still boys and moving all around. At one point Baby A was kicking Baby B in the belly.

I'm a little disapointed we didn't get as many good pictures as we did the first time. We did get two of their faces but Bs its hard to see. Oh well. I was just so happy to see them. I haven't felt much movement so it was such a relief to see them moving all around and they hearts looking so great.

Sounds like a good appointment. I have found the more active baby gets, the less my sono pics look cool.

Glad both babies are doing great!

Just wanted to place you at a little ease concerning the heart. he doc indicated our child has a heart variant at our 20 week ultrasound. It is a soft marker for downs. It shows up in lots of cases though. Since our Harmony test shows only a 1/10,000 risk I was told that the ultrasound was considered still normal. I suspect the same is true for you.

That's pretty much the same thing ours said. Although we declined all testing as I felt the false positve rate with twins was too high for my comfort. I didn't want to be stressed over something that was really nothing at all.

We learned today that IVF with ICSI (where they inject the sperm into the egg) has a higher risk of heart problems in utero. I knew there were other risks involved with ICSI but I guess I sort of thought they went away if the baby ended up making it into the "safe zone" I know sometimes with ICSI and IVF overall they can be a higher risk of miscarriage.

Yay for a good ultrasound! I don't know anything about the heart stuff but I am reassured that it probably something you don't have to worry toooo much about. Glad that your cervix looks great That is so reassuring! And I am happy you got to see them again, even if you didn't get any good pictures this time.

we have the heart thing too. I'm guessing it's the same thing because we were told the same thing; nothing to worry about without other issues.

Wonderful post about a wonderful appointment.

I love going to the high risk doctor just because the u/s techs are so much nicer and tell you everything as they are looking around. The techs at my regular OB are just rude.

I go on Monday and hoping to get a profile pic because baby was butt up last time and would not flip over for anything!
